NEPALPAY Request (Interoperable Request-To-Pay as Pull Transaction)

Powered by the Retail Payment Switch under the National Payment Switch(NPS), the NEPALPAY Request is the additional feature enabled in NPI through connectIPS to support pull transaction between the participating members.

Currently available through the connectIPS web interface for the users, this feature of NEPALPAY Request allows the receiver (creditor) to initiate a payment transaction for real-time debit of the required amount as pull transaction.

After the receiver (creditor) initiates the NEPALPAY Request, NPI enables pull (debit) transactions through connectIPS as Request-To-Pay, corresponding to which the debit instruction will be initiated after the authorization of the debtor customer is received against such request. The service is currently available for the connectIPS users though the connectIPS web interface and soon will be extended to other channels as well.
